Good perspective
travels well.
Keep your sites together. Bring your people into the picture. Share the useful numbers with the people who help you decide what comes next.
A home for your sites.
Studio, Journal & ShopSeveral sites.
A familiar rhythm.
Your main site, a publication, a shop or your next project. Add sites to a workspace and move between their reports, with each site’s identity and analytics kept distinct.
A view for each site
Switch between sites from the navigation. Traffic and settings stay attached to the site you’re working on.
A workspace-wide team
Membership and roles belong to the workspace and apply across its sites. Choose the workspace with that shared access in mind.
Usage in one place
See your plan and monthly event usage from the workspace, with billing organised around the workspace subscription.
The right people,
around the same numbers.
The workspace owner invites teammates as admins or viewers, manages pending invitations, and can update their roles as the team changes.
Invitations are tied to the recipient’s email and expire after seven days. Roles apply to the whole workspace.
Looks after the team
OwnerInvite members, cancel invitations, update admin or viewer roles, and remove members.
Helps run the sites
AdminAn admin role for teammates working with the workspace’s sites and their setup.
Follows the reports
ViewerA viewer role for teammates who come to the workspace to understand performance.
Same story. A different window.
Public sharing is visible to anyone with the link while enabled. This example changes the preview only; it does not create a shared link.
A link to the view.
Room for a conversation.
Enable a public dashboard to share traffic totals, trends, pages, sources, locations and devices. Recipients can read the report without joining your workspace.
Share deliberately
Anyone with the link can view the dashboard. Search engines are asked not to index it; the link is not a password-protected space.
Change your mind
Turn sharing off when it is no longer needed, or rotate the link to invalidate the previous address.
Keep it site-specific
The shared dashboard shows the selected site’s traffic reports, without exposing workspace settings or billing.
The essentials.
Where you need them.
Place a compact stats widget on a page with the iframe snippet from your sharing settings. It brings visitors, pageviews, current activity and a small trend chart together.
The widget uses the site’s public share link and is available while sharing is enabled. Your site name and chart colour carry through.
A name, a mark,
a little character.
Give each site a recognisable name, upload its logo and choose a chart colour. A few familiar details help everyone know which project they are looking at.
For your tracking setup, you can also configure a first-party collection hostname with a CNAME on your domain. This changes the tracker’s host, rather than the dashboard’s address.
Site name
A clear label in navigation and shared reports.
Your mark
Upload a logo, or use the site favicon.
Chart colour
An accent that follows the site into its dashboard and widget.
A regular note.
A shared starting point.
Choose a daily or weekly digest. Send the useful totals, leading pages and sources to Slack, or email the workspace’s owners and admins.
