Terms · Privacy · DPA · Legal noticesLast updated 8 September 2026.These terms govern access to Pulse at getpul.dev. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. They should be read with the privacy notice, the data processing addendum and the legal notices. This is not legal advice.
Who we are
Pulse is a privacy-first web analytics service operated by Pierre Ousset. Contact: hello@getpul.dev. The public site and application are https://getpul.dev.
The service
Pulse provides cookieless website analytics, optional conversion and journey reports, optional revenue attribution from payment providers you connect, optional short links, and related dashboards. Default visit counting does not use analytics cookies or a persistent visitor profile across days. Optional features you enable may process additional data, as described in the privacy notice.
Accounts
You sign in with an email address and a one-time code. You must be able to receive mail at that address and keep it secure. You are responsible for activity on your workspace, including teammates you invite. Workspace owners can add members, change roles and remove access. If you are using Pulse for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
Trial and paid plans
The first account that is not joining an existing workspace starts a 15-day trial with a monthly event quota of 50,000. No card is required to start. Tracked pageviews and events count toward the quota; filtered bots do not. Unlimited sites and seats are included on current plans.Current paid plans and prices in euros are published on the pricing page. Annual billing charges ten months for twelve. New Pulse subscriptions are billed through Whop. Existing Stripe subscriptions remain managed through Stripe until they end or are migrated. By subscribing you also accept the payment provider’s terms for the checkout itself. You may cancel a paid plan at any time. Access continues until the end of the period already paid. We do not promise prorated refunds, except where applicable law requires them or the payment provider issues one. If the trial ends or a subscription is not active, Pulse pauses collection of new analytics events. Historical reports already stored remain available in the account until you delete the site or workspace.Prices, quotas and plan names can change. We will update the pricing page; changes apply to later renewal periods unless a mandatory rule says otherwise.
Your websites
You are the controller of analytics collected from websites where you install Pulse. You must have a lawful basis, a notice that matches what you actually enable, and any consent required for your audience and optional features. Pulse does not give legal advice on your notice. If you call pulse.identify, do not send an email address or other directly identifying value.
Acceptable use
Do not use Pulse to break the law, to track children in a way that is not permitted, to send us content you do not have the right to process, or to overload, probe or disrupt the service. Do not reverse engineer the tracker beyond what is needed to install and review it. Do not share one-time login codes. We may suspend a workspace that creates a security, legal or abuse risk.
Data processing
For analytics events from your sites, Pulse acts as processor under the data processing addendum. For your account, billing and the getpul.dev website, Pulse acts as controller, as described in the privacy notice.
Intellectual property
Pulse, the mark, the application and the tracker remain ours or our licensors’. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your websites during your trial or paid period. You keep your own site content, configuration and the reports generated from your data. You may export available reports while your account can access them.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Pulse available but do not promise an uptime SLA unless a separate written agreement says so. Features can change. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice using the account email where we can.
Liability
Pulse is provided as a hosted analytics tool. We do not warrant that reports are complete, that every visit is counted, or that optional attribution will match a payment to a visit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damage. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Pulse in the three months before the claim, or €100 if you were on a trial. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including death, personal injury or fraud. If you use Pulse as a consumer resident in the EU or UK, mandatory consumer protections apply and prevail over any conflicting limitation.
Termination
You may stop using Pulse and delete sites or the workspace from the product. We may end or suspend the service if you materially breach these terms, if invoices remain unpaid, or if we must do so for law or security. After deletion, analytics for that site are removed as described in the DPA. Backup copies may persist for a short period before they are overwritten.
Law
These terms are governed by French law. Courts in France have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory venue rules that protect consumers.
