Install

You install one script. Pulse then records pageviews and, if you send them, named events.

Create an account

Open Pulse, enter your work email, then the one-time code. The first account that is not joining a workspace starts a 15-day trial. No card is required.

Add your site

Give the site a name and the domain people actually visit. Pulse shows a site token once. Copy it. You can rotate it later in site settings if you lose it.

Paste the snippet

Place the script before the closing body tag on every page you want to measure, including templates that wrap a single-page app.

Confirm a pageview

Open the site, then return to Pulse. A first pageview should appear on the overview. Local testing can use the onboarding test page. A production HTTPS site needs an HTTPS collect URL.

Replace the token with the value from site settings. Heatmaps and Web Vitals use tracker.full.js instead, after you enable extras.
